Wisdom from the Sunnah
خَيْرُكُمْ مَنْ تَعَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ وَعَلَّمَهُ
“The best among you are those who learn the Qur’an and teach it.” (Bukhari)
This Hadith reflects our mission at The Revert: to learn, share, and support one another in faith.

Ease and Clarity in Faith
إِنَّ الدِّينَ يُسْرٌ، وَلَنْ يُشَادَّ الدِّينَ أَحَدٌ إِلَّا غَلَبَهُ
"Indeed, religion is ease, and no one makes the religion hard upon himself except that it overwhelms him."
Sahih al-Bukhari (39)
Frequently Asked Questions
The Shahadah is Islam’s declaration of faith: “I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.” Saying it sincerely is how a person formally enters Islam. It affirms belief in one God and acceptance of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ as His final messenger.
No. You don’t need to speak Arabic to embrace Islam or say the Shahadah. Many people first recite it in their own language to understand the meaning, and then learn the Arabic words over time. You can begin learning prayer and Qur’an gradually.
Taking the Shahadah is the start of your journey. You’re encouraged to learn the basics of prayer, connect with a supportive community, and gradually build your knowledge. At The Revert we provide mentorship, beginner resources, and multilingual support to help you take each step with confidence.
No. Islam does not require you to change your name unless it carries an inappropriate meaning. Many new Muslims keep their original names and may adopt a Muslim name later if they choose, but it’s not mandatory.
You can find guides, videos, ebooks, and authentic Q&A right here on The Revert. We’ve organised everything in a clear, step-by-step way to make learning easy for new Muslims.
Absolutely. We understand that some questions are personal. Our mentors and support team welcome private, respectful questions and are here to provide clear, authentic answers without judgement.
